Christmas Trees

Every Christmas sweet bowl needs a tree in it, and these are the ones to plant. Christmas Trees are soft gummies moulded into little fir trees in red and green, all rolled in a fine coat of sugar that looks a lot like frost. The flavours are strawberry and apple, one sweet and one a little sharper, so no two handfuls taste quite the same.

They're made by Kingsway, and most of the colour comes from plants: safflower, spirulina, radish, blackcurrant and carrot, with carmine for the red. The chew is soft with a bit of bounce, and the sugar gives a light crunch before you get to it.

Scatter them over a Christmas cake, fill a stocking, or put them in a festive bowl with Christmas Elves and Snowflakes. Add Milk Chocolate Creme Filled Gold Bears and a sweet bowl turns into a proper Christmas table.

Sealed sweets can be returned unopened within 14 days.
