What it is
A gummy chicken foot in yellow and red, fruit flavoured, sold as a joke that children find funnier than adults do. Chewy and soft.

Where it comes from
Gross out shapes are a permanent category in children's confectionery, going back to wax lips and running through worms, teeth, eyeballs and body parts. The chicken foot is a European contribution to the tradition and sells well precisely because it makes people wince.
What it's made of
Glucose syrup, sugar and corn starch with gelatine, deposited in two colours, set with pectin and glazed with carnauba wax and beeswax.
