What it is
A chewy cherry flavoured rope with a fondant centre, deep red, slightly sharper than the strawberry version.
Taste

Where it comes from
Cherry is one of the standard European pencil flavours alongside strawberry, apple and blackcurrant. The format comes from southern Europe and the flavours were chosen for how well they hold up in a fondant, where delicate flavours are lost.
What it's made of
Sugar, glucose fructose syrup, wheat flour and maize starch extruded as a rope around a fondant, with halal beef gelatine, flavoured with cherry.
