Where it comes from
Raspberry sits alongside strawberry, apple and cherry as one of the four standard pencil flavours. All four were chosen because they hold up against the sweetness of a fondant filling, where subtler flavours disappear.
What it's made of
Sugar, glucose fructose syrup and wheat flour with maize modified starch, citric acid, humectant, potato starch, palm fat, beef gelatine and brilliant blue colour.
