Red pencils are usually strawberry. Cherry Pencils are cherry, and the difference matters. A long, bright red candy pencil with a soft, stretchy chew and a smooth white fondant through the middle, with a cherry flavour that's sweet up front and just a little tangy at the end. Snap it, peel it or eat it whole.
Made by Sweetzone, who specialise in halal sweets, so the gelatine is halal certified beef gelatine. The casing is a soft fruit candy rather than a true liquorice, so the texture is closer to a fruit chew.
They're a natural in a red mix with Twin Cherries, or in a pencil case with Strawberry Pencils and Blackcurrant Pencil.
Contains halal certified beef gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians. Contains wheat (gluten). Contains the colour E129, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
