Watermelon Millions taste like summer in a sweet shop. Tiny chewy balls, smaller than a pea, in watermelon rind green, with a sweet, juicy watermelon flavour that has a little tang from the malic acid. You pour a dozen in at once and the chew is soft and quick.
The colours come from curcumin, beetroot red and a touch of blue, so the green is a bit softer than a synthetic watermelon sweet, and the recipe uses cocoa butter and coconut oil for the smooth, slightly waxy finish that makes Millions feel the way they do.
They go with Strawberry Millions and Raspberry Millions for a pink Millions mix, or with Watermelon Slices if you want a bag that's all watermelon, sweet and sour.
