Taffy Town Frosted Cupcake is a soft, airy salt water taffy with a sweet vanilla sponge flavour and a thick buttercream frosting note over the top, swirled in pastel colours. It's the birthday cake flavour done properly, sweet and buttery without being sickly.
It's the genuine US made version from Taffy Town, the family run taffy makers who whip egg white and evaporated milk into every batch, which is why the texture is closer to a soft nougat than a hard chew.
