Each one is a long, ridged pink mallow rope, piped so it's lighter and airier than a normal marshmallow, with a sweet strawberry flavour that sits somewhere between strawberry milkshake and a foam sweet.
They're made by Fini, who make the Raspberry Whips as well, and the two are easy to tell apart on the tray: strawberry is the pink one. The colour comes from carmine, and the flavour is gentle rather than sharp, so children who find sour sweets too much tend to go for these.
They belong in a pink bag or a soft bag. Put them with Raspberry Whips so people can pick a side, and add Strawberry and Crème for more strawberry.
