Small, blue and not to be trusted. Sour Blue Raspberry Cubes look like innocent little jewels until the sour sugar coat hits your tongue and your cheeks pull in. Underneath is a firm, dense chew with a big sweet blue raspberry flavour, the kind that turns your tongue blue and sends you back for another.
The sour is a proper sour, built on citric, tartaric and malic acids rather than a light dusting, so it lingers a few seconds before the sweetness takes over.
These are the sour side of any blue mix. Put them with Blue Raspberry Bon Bons and Fizzy Blue Raspberries for a bag that is one colour and three textures, or add Melon Slices for a sour bag that means it.
