Orange and Lemons

Some sweets have been around long enough to be a memory before you've eaten one. Orange and Lemons are the traditional citrus sweets in two colours, orange and yellow, with a clean, zesty flavour that comes from real orange oil and lemon oil rather than a flavouring. They start sharp and finish sweet.

The recipe is about as short as a sweet gets: sugar, glucose, citric acid, the two oils and two colours. That's why the citrus tastes like the peel of the fruit rather than a squash.

They belong in a traditional bag with West Indian Limes and Sherbet Lemons for a full citrus counter, or Fruit Jellies for something soft next to something sharp. A good one for a grandparent's jar.

Made with vegan ingredients and no gelatine. Contains the colours E102 and E110, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.

Express delivery is £5.99 for next working day delivery when you order before 2pm Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 2pm or at weekends are dispatched the next working day. The Highlands and islands can take a little longer.

Sealed sweets can be returned unopened within 14 days.
