Monsters are soft, chunky gummies moulded into daft little creatures with bug eyes and wide grins, in bright shades of red, orange, yellow, green and purple, each with its own fruit flavour. The chew is the soft, giving kind that a gummy with pectin in it tends to have, and the flavours are sweet and rounded rather than sour.
Kingsway make them, and they've done the colouring with plant, fruit and vegetable concentrates: black carrot, spirulina, safflower and apple, plus curcumin and paprika. So they're bright without needing the artificial colours that come with a warning label.
They're built for Halloween. Put them in with Gummy Bones, Jelly Filled Skulls and Skull Crushers and you've got a bag that'll get eaten before any of the trick or treaters arrive.
