Mini Strawberry Pencils are strawberry pencils, cut short. Each piece is a stubby red chew about the length of your thumbnail, with a soft white fondant through the centre and a sweet, simple strawberry flavour. The same two texture bite as the full length pencil, in a form you can eat by the handful.
Made by Kingsway, who sell them as Strawberry Bites. The casing is a soft candy rather than a true liquorice, so they chew softer than a pencil made the traditional way.
They're the easy way to add red to a rainbow bag. Mix them with Mini Rainbow Pencils and Multicoloured Mini Pencils for a jar of little pencils, or use them to top up Strawberry Pencils.
Contains beef gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians. Contains wheat (gluten). May contain traces of soya. Contains the colour E129, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
