Every mix needs a filler, and Baby Meerkats are a good one. Tiny upright meerkats, soft and slightly dense, with a sweet mixed fruit flavour that comes through quickly because there's so little of each one. You eat them by the handful without meaning to.
They're set without gelatine, using wheat and modified starches, and the colours are all plant based: spirulina, safflower, grape, black carrot, curcumin and paprika. That gives the reds and greens a softer, more natural look than the neon end of the counter.
Pair them with the full size Meerkats for the family photo, with Mini Fangs for a bag of small things, or just use them to top up a mix where the big sweets have left too much air.
