Meerkats are the vegan meerkat. Soft, slightly dense gummies in a standing meerkat shape, with a sweet mixed fruit flavour that shifts a little across the colours and a chew that's a touch firmer than a gelatine gummy. Nothing sour, nothing sharp, just an easy bag.
Kingsway make these as part of their vegan range, set on wheat and modified starches with no gelatine, and every colour is from a plant: black carrot, grape, spirulina, safflower, curcumin and paprika. That's why the oranges and browns look like an actual meerkat rather than a neon one.
