Somebody at The Fudge Factory looked at a jar of jelly beans and a tray of fudge and thought, why not both. The result is a soft, brightly coloured fruit fudge with whole jelly beans pressed through it, the give of the fudge and then the chewy pop of a bean.
The fudge carries six fruit flavours, watermelon, strawberry, blackcurrant, apple, banana and orange, and the beans are coloured with plant extracts like spirulina and safflower. The beans are glazed with beeswax and shellac, so it isn't vegan.
It's the fun one. Line it up with Candy Floss Fudge and Bubblegum Fudge for a kids' party box.
Made on a soya base with no milk in the recipe, and no gelatine, so suitable for vegetarians. Contains soya. May contain traces of nuts and peanuts. Contains the colours E122, E102 and E110, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
