Happy Flowers are exactly what they sound like. Little flower shaped jellies with five rounded petals, glossy and bright, with a soft, gentle chew and a mild mixed fruit flavour that doesn't try too hard. They're a soft jelly rather than a firm gum, so they suit younger teeth and people who don't like a fight.
Made by Kingsway, and the colours are all from plants: black carrot, spirulina, safflower, curcumin and paprika. The pectin in the recipe alongside the gelatine gives them that slightly softer, bouncier bite than a plain gelatine jelly.
They're a party bag regular, and they sit well in a jelly bag with Funky Fruits and Jelly Mix, or with Rainbow Flowers for a garden themed sweet table. Good on a cupcake, too.
Contains pork gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians.
