If you only know one gummy, it's this one. Happy Cola Bottles are the Haribo cola bottle, a little clear and brown bottle with a firm, springy chew and a cola flavour that's sweeter and rounder than the drink. They're the sweet you eat without noticing, and then the bag is empty.
Haribo colour them with caramelised sugar syrup and nothing else, and the glaze is beeswax, which is why they have that slight shine and don't clump. The texture is the classic Haribo chew, firmer than a British jelly and with a bit of bounce.
They go with everything, but they're best with Gold Bears for the classic Haribo pair, or with Fizzy Cola Bottles and Giant Cola Bottles for a bag that's cola in three forms. The safest sweet in any mix.
Contains gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians.
