Fish 'n' Chips are the sweet shop's oldest joke, and it still lands. Small white shapes, some fish and some chips, with a sweet vanilla flavour and a soft, slightly chalky bite that melts in seconds. They are pale, plain and they taste of being seven years old on a Friday night.
Hannah's make them, and the recipe is the same simple sweet compound base they use for their White Mice, with no cocoa in it. No sprinkles, no coating, just the shape and the flavour. There is a small satisfaction in eating the chips first and saving the fish, or the other way round.
They are a must in a nostalgic bag with White Mice, and they go with Fizzy Chips and Jumbo Fizzy Chips for a full chip shop order in sweet form. Good for a party bag or an office desk drawer.
Made without gelatine, suitable for vegetarians. Contains gluten and milk.
Keep them somewhere cool and dry, as they soften in the heat.
