Bumper Banana

A foam banana you need two bites for. Bumper Bananas are the giant version of the pick n mix classic, a good finger's length, bright yellow and pillowy soft, with the sweet, slightly artificial banana flavour that's somehow better than the real fruit. The foam is light and springy and gives way with a gentle chew.

Kingsway make them, alongside their regular Foam Banana, and the recipe is the same one: sugar, glucose syrup, gelatine, citric acid, and a plant based colour from safflower for the yellow. They're big enough to feel like a proper sweet rather than a mouthful, which is the whole appeal.

They're the star of any foam mix. Foam Banana, Milk Bottles and Fried Eggs are the natural companions, or put them in a yellow themed party bag and watch the kids go straight for them.

Contains pork gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians. May contain traces of peanuts and tree nuts.

Express delivery is £5.99 for next working day delivery when you order before 2pm Monday to Friday. Orders placed after 2pm or at weekends are dispatched the next working day. The Highlands and islands can take a little longer.
