Banana and caramel is banoffee without the pastry, and Bubs Banana and Caramel puts it in a foam sweet. Each one is a two tone oval, a yellow banana half and a golden caramel half, both soft and springy, and the trick is to eat them together so the sweet foam banana and the toffee caramel hit at the same time.
Like all Bubs it's made with vegan ingredients, which surprises people given how much it tastes like a pudding. The caramel colour is E150d and the banana yellow is curcumin, and there's a light glaze so they don't cling together in the bag.
They belong in a banana run with Banana Drage and Swedish Chocolate Banana, or in a soft Bubs bag with Bubs Pear. Good in a movie night bowl, where the pudding flavour makes sense.
