Green apple works better in a pencil than almost anywhere else. The tang of the apple cuts through the sweet fondant centre, so each bite starts sharp and finishes soft. The Apple Pencil is a long, bright green candy pencil with a soft, slightly stretchy chew and a smooth white filling the full length.
Made by Sweetzone without gelatine, like their strawberry pencil. The casing has apple juice concentrate in it, which is more apple than most apple sweets can claim.
They go with Cherry Pencils and Strawberry Pencils for a traffic light set, or with Apple Rings in a green bag.
Made without gelatine, so suitable for vegetarians. Contains wheat (gluten). May contain traces of peanuts and tree nuts. Contains the colour E102, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children. Contains sorbitol, so excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.
