This one gets played with first. 5D Christmas Peelable Gummies are fruit flavoured gummies with two layers: a chewy outer skin that you peel away, and a soft gummy Christmas character hiding inside. There are six to find, Santa and a snowman among them, and each sweet comes in its own bright red wrapper so nobody knows who they've got until it's open.
They're a Kingsway line, made with strawberry, apple, mango and peach juice concentrates, so the flavour is soft and fruity instead of sharp. Peel the skin and eat it on its own, or bite straight through both layers if you can't wait. Most people manage the patient way exactly once.
Because they're wrapped, they're made for stockings, advent bags and the top of a present. Put them out with Christmas Trees and Snowflakes for a bowl that keeps small hands busy, or add Milk Chocolate Santa's Belt Coins so there's something to unwrap on both sides.
