Where it comes from
Vimto was created in Manchester in 1908 by John Noel Nichols as a health tonic, and the name is a contraction of vim and tonic. It became a north of England institution, and licensing the flavour to Millions in the 2000s put two regional favourites into one sweet.
What it's made of
Sugar, glucose syrup and coconut oil with fruit juices from concentrate, flavoured with the Vimto blend and coloured with black carrot, hibiscus and elderberry.
