What it is
Small peppermint candy canes in red, green and white stripes, each one wrapped.
Taste
Where it comes from
Nobody knows who first bent a sugar stick into a hook. The popular story about a Cologne choirmaster in 1670 has no evidence behind it, but plain white canes appear on Christmas cards before 1900 and the striped peppermint cane was standard soon after.
