What it is
A jelly sweet flavoured with grapefruit, sharp and slightly bitter, unusual among sweets that are almost always simply sweet.
Taste

Where it comes from
Grapefruit is a hybrid of the orange and the pomelo, first recorded in Barbados in the eighteenth century and named for how the fruit grows in clusters like grapes. Its bitterness makes it rare in confectionery, which is exactly why it stands out.
What it's made of
Sugar, glucose syrup and gelatine from pork with citric and fumaric acid and fruit and plant concentrates from elderberry, blackcurrant, chokeberry and grape.
