Where it comes from
Made by Vidal, the Spanish maker founded in 1963 in Molina de Segura. Long jelly snakes are moulded in one piece and are among the bigger sweets on the wall.
What it's made of
Glucose syrup, sugar and gelatine with humectant (sorbitols), modified potato starch, acidity regulator (citric acid), fruit and vegetable concentrates (safflower, spirulina, lemon, radish, blackcurrant, carrot), flavourings, glazing agents (carnauba wax, beeswax) and colours (E100, E120, E160a, E160c).
