Where it comes from
Made by Vidal, the Spanish confectioner founded in 1963, which has a long line in sweets shaped like food. Novelty shapes like this are a staple of the pick and mix wall, where looks sell the first scoop.
What it's made of
Glucose syrup, sugar and maize starch with gelatine, acidity regulators (citric acid, lactic acid), invert sugar syrup, gelling agent (pectins), flavourings, fruit and vegetable concentrates (safflower, lemon, radish, blackcurrant, carrot, apple, pumpkin, tomato), acidity regulator (sodium citrates), glazing agents (carnauba wax, beeswax) and colours (E100, E120, E133, E150a, E153).
