What it is
A two tone foam sweet with a pink strawberry half and a pale vanilla half. Soft and springy, sweet first with a little tang.
Taste
Where it comes from
Bubs Godis has made sweets in Jönköping in southern Sweden since 1992 and is best known for its foam ovals and skulls. Its foam sweets are made without gelatine, which is one reason the brand travelled so well once Swedish pick and mix caught on abroad.
What it's made of
Sugar, glucose fructose syrup and corn starch with water, acidity regulators (malic acid, sodium citrate), potato protein, flavourings and colour (black carrot concentrate).
