What it is
A foamy sour sweet with a pear flavour, light textured and properly sour without being aggressive. Cleaner tasting than most British sour sweets.
Taste
Where it comes from
Pear is a much more common sweet flavour in Scandinavia than in Britain, where it barely features outside pear drops. Bubs built a range around foam sweets in Nordic flavours, and pear and liquorice are two of the flavours that define the brand outside Sweden.
What it's made of
Sugar, glucose fructose syrup, cornstarch and water with malic acid and sodium citrate, aerated and moulded, with a light glaze.
