What it is
A box of jelly beans in matched pairs, where each colour is either a nice flavour or a deliberately horrible one, and you cannot tell which until you eat it. Rotten egg sits next to buttered popcorn.

Where it comes from
Jelly Belly launched Beanboozled in 2014, taking the idea of the mystery bean and turning it into a challenge game. It became one of the most filmed sweets in the world, because the whole product is designed around watching somebody's face change. It is the clearest example of a sweet built for video rather than for eating.
What it's made of
Identical looking beans in matched colours, one flavoured pleasantly and one flavoured with something unpleasant but harmless, all made the same way as a standard bean.
