Cherry that's actually tart. Sour Cherry Bears are soft, chewy gummy bears with a deep red cherry flavour that leans sour rather than sweet, the way a real cherry does before it's ripe. The chew is bouncy and the sour builds gently instead of hitting you all at once.
They're the version sold in American candy stores, and unlike a lot of sour sweets there's no sanding sugar on the outside. The tartness is in the bear itself, from citric and malic acid in the recipe, so it lasts the whole chew.
Pair them with Sour Watermelon Bears for a sour bear pair, Fruit Sours Cherry for cherry in two textures, or Triple Layer Bears for a bag of bears that all bite back.
