In Sweden these are called Hallonfilurer, and they are one of the cleverest sweets on the pick and mix wall. Raspberry Caramels come from Grahns, the Swedish sweet maker.
Each one is a hard raspberry candy, bright and fruity. Hidden in the middle is a core of tangy, salty powder, the classic Scandinavian salt and sweet trick. Raspberry on the outside, a savoury spark on the inside, and a combination that somehow works beautifully.
Try them with Powder Filled Toad if you enjoy the surprise, or Bubs Raspberry & Liquorice for a softer take on the same pairing.
