Think strawberries and cream rather than a strawberry jelly. My Strawberries are soft, strawberry shaped sweets with a smooth, gentle chew and a creamy sweet strawberry flavour, and there's real cream and a touch of fruit juice in the recipe, which is why the creaminess is real rather than pretend.
They're a gourmet style sweet rather than a fairground one, and the shape is lovely: a plump little strawberry with the seeds picked out in the mould. They look expensive in a jar.
Put them with Filled Fruit Peach and Giant Strawberries for a soft fruit bag, or add Strawberry Wheels for a strawberry mix in three textures. They also suit a gift jar or a dessert table.
