Your grandad kept Mintoes in his cardigan pocket, and Mintoes Sugar Free taste just the same. A hard, pale, smooth sweet with clean peppermint oil up front and a soft vanilla and butter note behind it that stops the mint being harsh. They last a good while.
Stockley's make them with isomalt and sucralose in place of sugar, real butter, and plain caramel for the colour. The peppermint comes from the oil itself rather than a flavouring.
They belong with Humbugs (Sugar Free) and Chocolate Mints Sugar Free for a mint led sugar free bag, or alongside the regular Mintoes to see whether anyone can tell the difference. A good one to leave by the front door for guests.
Made without gelatine, suitable for vegetarians. Contains milk. Contains isomalt, so excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. Not suitable for children under three.
