Mega Stix are a chew bar that's been to the gym. Long, thick, firm sticks of fruit chew that take some effort to bite through and then go on for a good while, in four flavours: strawberry, sour cherry, watermelon and cola. The cola one is the sleeper hit.
They're made by Sweetzone with halal certified beef gelatine, and the recipe has a decent amount of fruit juice in it, eight percent strawberry and five percent sour cherry, which you can taste in the two red ones. The colours come from anthocyanin and caramel rather than anything neon.
They belong with Maoam Joystix and Maoam Stripes in a bag for people who like a chew with resistance, or with Fruitella for a chew bar comparison on a long drive.
Contains halal certified beef gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians. Contains sulphites. Contains sorbitol, so excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.
