Jelly Snakes are built for stretching. Each one is a long, slim two colour snake, soft and elastic, and the sweet mixed fruit flavour changes a little with the colour, though nobody has ever agreed on which is which. The chew is soft and a bit sticky, in the way a good snake should be.
Kingsway make them, and the colours come from curcumin, paprika extract and a brilliant blue, with grape and black carrot concentrates in the mix. They're long enough to snap in half and share, which is what most of them end up being used for.
They go with Fizzy Snakes and Fizzy Jelly Snakes for a snake pit, or with Crocodiles for a reptile house. Also the best sweet for eating while pretending to be a bird.
Contains pork gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians.
