Most Christmas sweets taste of nothing much and rely on the shape. Christmas Elves don't. They're soft gummies moulded into little red elves, and the flavour is caramel and vanilla, warm and sweet and a bit like the smell of a kitchen on Christmas Eve. The chew is gentle and they finish clean.
They're set with gelatine and a little pectin. The red comes from a single colour and the elves are glazed so they catch the light on a table.
Pair with Penguin Marshmallows and Marshmallow Stars for a festive bowl, or mix with Gummy Pumpkins if you're in the odd week where both seasons overlap.
Contains pork and beef gelatine, so not suitable for vegetarians or vegans. Contains the colour E129, which may have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children.
