Bubblegum flavour is the sweet that grown ups pretend to have grown out of, and these skulls are the test. Bubs Sour Bubblegum Skulls are soft, springy foam skulls in pink and blue, dusted in a sour sugar that fizzes on the tongue before the sweet, cartoonish bubblegum flavour takes over.
Bubs sell them in Sweden as Dizzy Bubblegum Skulls, which tells you the mood. The pink comes from black carrot and the blue is E133, and they're a touch smaller than the Big Sour Skulls, so more of them fit in a scoop. The foam is dense and chewy, not marshmallow soft.
They're the fun end of a Bubs bag. Add Bubs Big Sour Skulls and Bubs Cola Skulls for the skull collection, or Bubs Tutti Frutti for another sweet, fruity foam alongside.
