Where it comes from
Rhubarb and custard is one of the defining British sweet flavours, made possible by Yorkshire's forced rhubarb sheds and by custard powder, invented in 1837. The miniature version puts a traditional flavour into a modern format.
What it's made of
Sugar and glucose syrup with sulphites and citric acid, boiled in two flavours, coloured with curcumin and anthocyanins.
